Hogonin Temple is a small temple by the riverside. Payment for entry is necessary. With less visitors, it is more quiet to enjoy the tranquility inside the temple. Tree leaves already changed colors and worth to view inside if you have time.

We visited for the night illumination and it was spell binding. Great mix of evergreens and maples, with very tastefully decorated buildings in the garden.
