Always great to go here and relive old memories from 50 yrs ago when we would fight every month against hordes of Japanese students for contest points Now it’s only used for kendo and and nagenata because there is a new budokan next door

Be brave and wander in. We spent a relaxing hour watching a kids’ karate competition. We all enjoyed seeing families enjoy time together. And they really go for it, even the young ones.

No district of Kyoto is quite as representative of its
