Visited Manshu in for the first time during my recent trip to Kyoto. Beautiful garden which is close to the Shugakuin imperial villa which requires pre-booking to visit.

Very silent and you can get relaxed seeing the beautiful garden. This area has fewer tourists so much better than Sagano area.

Yes, this is a beautiful place, but one of the least special ones of Kyoto, and far from the center. We combined it with Shishen do and Ritsurin on a half day.
