Nene-no-Michi, named after Hideyoshi’s wife, is a narrow street between Kodaiji temple and Entikuin. It is not a pedestrian street, but as it is a main touristic course from Kiyomizudera to Yasaka Shrine, there are always tourists. Now, because of COVID-19, it seems to be unnaturally calm.

We stumbled on this street at dusk. With the lanterns on and ladies in kimono scooting by it was very atmospheric, and a relief after the crowds near the approach to Kiyomizudera. There's a lot of interesting stuff nearby, this is a nice artery.

Another street away from sannen and nannen zaka streets but also sometimes nice to walk through. Less crowded and wider.

We continue our walk from Maruyama Park along this famous street, to continue our experience of traditional Japan. Although here we started to find more tourists than locals.
