Just like every China Town around the world, this area is very crowded, food is not as good as in China. But for non-Chinese, it might be an interesting place.

The port area was very interesting with its history and lots of modern shops. China Town for lots of lovely fresh cooked food.

Kobe's Chinatown is a compact area of a few blocks. Those few blocks are crazy busy. There are shops selling all kinds of cheap items, restaurants and street food to suit all tastes - as long as your taste is for Chinese. Noisy, colourful, crowded.

A great way to get your Chinese food fill with heaps of restaurants and little stalls all the way down the street. Lots of alley ways to enjoy all around the area.

We wet into a street food shop to eat. Tried many including the fried duck wrapped...gyozas..etc. All are a bit tasteless. Not hot enough...and overpriced.
