I visited this place a few days ago and really enjoyed. I would not categorize it as a traditional zoo, but more like an aviary with a large variety of small animals like monkeys, birds and other small wildlife. You get to walk around most...More

The zoo houses a wide range of animals and plants. I’m not a biologist or zoologist, I’m not sure if they’re rare ones or not though. There are some amazing performances as well. The zoo also offers interactions for you with some of the animals....More

Kobe Animal Kingdom is a cross between a botanical garden, a zoo and an educational outreach center. If you go on a weekday, you'll sometimes see groups of school kids around the place. There are a number of animals, some of which visitors can interact...More

if I remember correctly. There is a train from Namba to Kobe-sannomiya Station which takes about 30-40 mins. Then you change to the skyliner monorail to the kei computerMae station.

Day Trip to Kobe... is this possible? (2 Replies)
I'm staying in Osaka and will be visiting Kobe for the day. I'm traveling with my wife and two young children (4 and 1.5). Just wondering if the following would be reasonable to do in a day: --Kobe Maritime Museum --Kobe Port Tower --Kawasaki Good Times World --Kobe Zoo --Kobe Animal Kingdom --UCC Coffee Museum In addition, I'd like to eat lunch and maybe an early dinner with at least one meal involving Kobe's famous wagyu! If this is not feasible, what would you remove? ...More

I agree with Mt. Rokko. Nice cable car ride and views of Kobe in good weather. wasn't so lucky as it was foggy and hazy when I went last week. Also, you can walk along the harbor front from Kobe Tower to Harborland. It was actually much smaller than I initially thought. The Mosaic is a pleasant shopping complex in Haborland with shops and restaurants a lot of which have views of the harbor. There's also a ferris wheel and small amusement park for young children at Mosaic. If you can, do drop...More

Disney park hopper (27 Replies)
We were planning to stay for 3 nights in a hotel at disney area, visiting each park on a different day. However after visiting the HK disney, we didn’t find anything new there (we had visited all 4 parks in Orlando and the 2 parks in Paris before). So we eventually took 2 nights only and decided to head only for Disneysea. However, since both parks considered the best of the Disney parks, I don’t know if we should spend the entire day at Disneysea, or do park hoppering. Iv’e checked all...More

I don’t think you CAN park hop on a one day ticket at TDL unless they changed the rules. It’s a little different than the other Disney parks. The only park hop option is the three day ticket- you can pick one park for the first day, so the second park the 2nd day, and then park hop the third day. For what it’s worth, I’ve been to DL CA, Paris, And Wdw, and thoroughly enjoyed myself at both Tokyo parks. But TDL is very similar to CDL, with the possible exception of hunny hunt (totally...More

Hi, i think you need to prioritize sites you want to visit. 7 days might not be enough. For universal studios allot one day. Visit on a wednesday so that you will not need fast pass. Go there at 9pm. You can do dotonbori at night while visit other sites in the morning such osaka castle, kuromon, shinsabaishi etc. i suggest you to visit Kuromon to taste the authentic Japanese dishes but they close at 8pm. Better go there for lunch. if you want to save, you can ride JR station to Kyoto. Just...More
