WE FROZE - but it was awesome!

Our friends took us to Kobe for the day and we started the drive to Mt. Rokko around 7:30. It was much longer a drive and much windier than previously anticipated, and it was high... read more

We went up very late around 8pm on weekday, and there were no more buses service already. Paid 1000 yen for round trip cable car ride and it's worth the view. Last cable car leaves at 9:10pm. There's a cafe with some snacks and beverage. Best to go up during sunset time to watch the sunset view plus the night... More

Good day out and not to many tourists. Took the tram up to the top and then on the cable car to Arimia Onsen. The views are just stunning, well worth a visit

After hearing reviews from Trip advisor, I have also gotten myself this Rokko/Arima 1 day pass (2460 Yen) . As we are staying in Namba, we have gotten the Hanshin version. Decided to write this review to help others too. ^^ This pass is really worth getting! . Strongly recommended to get it. I bought my pass at Umeda Hanshin... More

Our friends took us to Kobe for the day and we started the drive to Mt. Rokko around 7:30. It was much longer a drive and much windier than previously anticipated, and it was high enough in elevation that SNOW was still on the ground. This shocked the CA girls and we were not prepared for such temperatures. The views... More

Once you are in Kobe, must visit this mountain. Each seasons have different face. My favourite is spring and fall. Top of mountain is Verdi cooling with fresh air. We can enjoy the sea view from there. Cable car also one of the attraction there.

The views from top of this mountain are fantastic. You can see all the way to Osaka and beyond. Easy to get to by public transportation from JR train station in Kobe, then you take bus number 16 or 106 for 210 yen which drops you just at the trolly ride up the mountain. Once up there, you can take... More

We have always wanted to visit Mt Rokko but getting to the top is challenging until we get to know that there is a transport package and we jumped into it! We bought this ¥1000 Rokkosan Tourist Pass at Umeda’s Hankyu Tourist Centre, good deal. We alight at Hanshin Mikage (HS25) 御影駅station and took the #16 Kobe City bus. Barely... More

It took us 2.5 hour from Osaka to here by public transport. It is exhausting But when we arrived, everything changed. This is a small park where children could play with snow, ski, ski board. Rental and entry fee is very reasonable. Place with many staff to ensure safety of kids. They also offer lesson for children to learn ski.... More

Couldn't see very far. Not sure if it was due to the cold air and mist. Maybe cause it was late afternoon in November and the sun was no so bright. Nevertheless you can still get decent background pics from the observation deck.
