Nice, big, modern & classy mall.....
Dec 2018 • Family
Asse is one of few big & very nice malls within the Hiroshima station & vicinity.

Very modern & classy, with good mix of products & independent shops. The famous & delicious Bake Cheese tarts has an outlet on ground floor of Asse, facing the entrance of Asse right in the train station compound.

What we love most about such big malls in Japan are the just as big & nice upmarket supermarkets usually found in these big malls.

Such supermarts carry wide varieties of cooked & fresh/raw food (like sashimi, oysters). And the most wonderful part is that at about 8pm daily, discounts of up to 50% are given for these foods. Lots of locals & tourists appeared at this time & cleared all food very quickly.

Nice Shopping Mall with lots of eateries and shops and supermarket!
Dec 2018 • Family
ASSE is a huge shopping mall, covering several floors, with many boutique shops (fashion, bags, shoes, including a MUJI store) and book stores, eateries and restaurants and a supermarket at the basement. It is conveniently located directly on the south wing of Hiroshima Station, with Ekie, another departmental store, next to it, separated by a 7-11 convenience store.

And honestly, you will be spoiled for choices in choosing what to eat especially, with many food options available with various price ranging, offering Japanese, local and western cuisines.

So it's a must visit place especially if you are riding on the JR train here and you will not miss it!

Mall at the station
Jul 2018 • Family
Handy mall right where you need one.

The eateries include an alley style area with multiple Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki joints. Taste your fill and eat with a spatula straight from the hot plate.

Lots of clothes and fashion accessories too.

Great place to grab a bite
Jul 2018 • Family
Asse is a shopping mall right next to Hiroshima Station and there are plenty of places to eat in here. Most of the sit down restaurants are on the 2nd and 6th floor. If you need food to go, head to the basement where there are a several stores that offers bentos or food to go. There are also several confectionery shops on the first floor. Be sure to check out the Bake Cheese Tart store! Always crowded but take a bite of one of those delicious cheese tarts and you will know why there is always a line.

Shopping mall next to the main train station
Jun 2018 • Couples
This shopping mall is right next to the Hiroshima JR station. Most of the shops close at 8pm. Restaurants close a bit later around 9pm or 10pm. Also, there is a supermarket in the basement.

Good department store for food, with the fastest service I've ever witnessed. The cashier was fast.
Upper floors have places to eat at reasonable prices.

This mall on the 2nd floor had many okonomiyaki restaurants! We picked one and loved it. Then we shopped at the different stores. Unique items.
