My partner and I recently took a day-trip to Hiroshima from Osaka. With only a day to see Hiroshima, this tour was perfect both because it was easy to get around Hiroshima on the electric bikes provided (and to get to the meeting point which was 3 minutes’ walk from Hiroshima station), but also because our guide Tomomi took us to spots we would never have explored alone and gave us such interesting information and personal anecdotes which made the tour more fun and personal. The photos she took of the group were great and it was such a pleasure to be shown around her own city by a local who wanted to share what the modern Hiroshima looks like as well as history’s Hiroshima. Would highly recommend this tour for all

Our guide Shin was extremely entertaining. The
the stories he shared about his grandparents, survivors of the atomic bomb were really interesting. As the museums were closed, due to the Corona virus, having Shin tell his personal family stories brought to life the reality of what took place during the war. The tour was on E- bikes which probably isn’t that necessary as it was pretty flat and not a huge distance. But, certainly made it easy. There were 5 of us on this tour and we also had a lovely young woman assisting with the tour. Considering that we weren’t able to go into the museums that are normally part of the tour, it was still a great and very informative afternoon.

We only had time for a day trip to Hiroshima, and booked our tour with Yui at 10pm the night before.

They communicated very well and made finding the meeting point easy (couple mins from train).

Yui was very friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable on every aspect of Hiroshima. Her opennness and willingness to teach us about her home was very nice. Her English was also really good, making it very easy to ask questions.

Brilliant day, would recommend to all, even if its the only thing you do in Hiroshima.

Yui is a great tour guide.
She is very patient and flexible, perfect balance of everything to keep teenage boys entertained and adults interested and informed.
We all highly recommend her...and the tour route

Visiting Japan for our honeymoon and chose to do this cycle tour. We did not regret doing it, it was super fun! Our guides Yui and Toby really went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. They were very informative about the city and the tragedy that happened here. I would definitely recommend!

When in Hiroshima we made a last minute booking with this tour. There was good communication regarding the meeting point. Shin, Mayumi and Patagonia( Yui) were amazing. A very personal tour of such an amazing place. The tour was for 3 hours but we ran overtime as there was so much to see and talk about. Shin made a point to ride with each person and get to know them and give them extra points of interest for them, but we also heard about their lives. It was a hot day but we always stopped in areas of shade and they made sure everyone was well hydrated.A very moving tour about such a tragic event and the take away message was we should all return to our countries and spread the word of world peace.GO CARPS

My friend and I were recommended this bike tour by our accommodation and we're glad to have stumbled across it.

We met our two guides at a bike rental store not far from Hiroshima station. We were warmly welcomed and enthusiastically greeted. After a briefing, we picked up our electrically assisted bikes which was a new experience for us. One of us had not been on a bike in many years however this didn't matter at all as the electric assist really helped and made it feel effortless. The guides also matched our pace and made sure we were having a good time.

The tour was tailored to our interests, and they confirmed our route on a map before we started. We wanted to learn more about Hiroshima and its history so they not only took us to the Peace Park, but also significant monuments and buildings of relevance spread out in the wider city that tourists may not necessarily be aware of or plan to visit as they may not be easy to get to without bikes. It was great to be able to see more of Hiroshima by bike and not having to worry where to go, just following the guides and enjoying the experience was a delight.

We paid an extra 1,500 Yen to incorporate an okonomiyaki cooking experience, which we then ate for lunch. It was a lot of fun! The cook assisted us every step of the way and was very friendly. We had a good chat with everyone after lunch, and we're not sure if this is part of the experience we paid for, but afterwards, his wife offered to teach us how to make paper cranes origami.

As part of the tour, we could have continued to use the bikes ourselves for the remainder of the day, which we wish we had known sooner so we could have planned for it, however we had other plans that afternoon.

Overall we had a positive experience and would recommend this to others.

We went on a very fun and tasty evening walk with local tour guide mister Tanaka. He makes you feel comfortable and can lead you to great places that would be very difficult to find on your own. A must do for every foodie. Canpai!

The two guides we had were simply awesome - combination of knowledgeable and fun.

The e-Bikes were really good and certainly added to the experience.

We saw a wide range of things, and the other 4 people on the tour were tremendous company.

It’s humbling and thought-provoking

Peace!
