It was a beautiful day with clear blue skies and the park was quite empty. It was a very serene place to stroll around. There are lots of memorials to see around, you can easily spend a couple of hours here.

Wonderful place full of touching memorials, scenic park and reminders of the horror of nuclear warfare. Best if you can avoid the groups of school kids, however to really contemplate the tragedy

The park is full of meaningful monuments reminding us the cruelty of war. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. Arrived with Hiroden streetcar in the north end and spent around an hour walking slowly through the park, feel highly stress-relief.

The park is open all through the year. But the A-bomb museum is closed on New Year's day.
