Visited the Hokudai location (and the Shiroishi location) of this camp and backpacker goods store on a recent trip to Sapporo.

They have a good selection of gear and brands, especially considering that store sizes tend to be a lot smaller in Japan than some other parts of the world. Staff were polite and helpful, taking time to explain differences in features and even pulling out manuals and sales guides when necessary to confirm really fine detail.

Prices were very reasonable, and I am always happy to support local stores in such situations.

The store is well located and had a good level of traffic during both of my visits. There is plenty of free parking, too--a rarity in Sapporo. The Hokudai store has four floors but you can enter at street level and there is an elevator, so step free access.

Can't recommend them enough. I was very happy to give them my business and will definitely be back on my next trip!
