ラグビー場だけでなく、テニスコートもあります

ラグビー場（競技場）のほかに、スケート場もありました。インラインスケートの大会にも使用されるとのことでした。結構、広い感じです。4月下旬以降、10月頃まではここがアスファルトのサーフェイスのテニスコート（4面）として利用されるとの聞きました。他に体育館や温水プールもあって、市民のスポーツの場として広く使われているそうです。

市営地下鉄東豊線の「月寒中央駅」から歩いて数分です。

駅の改札を出てすぐのところに案内があるので迷うことはないでしょう。

以前アーチェリーで訪問して以来数年ぶりに友人の応援で訪問。
めずらしく公共交通機関を使用。
地下鉄東豊線「月寒中央駅」からすぐでした。
地上に出て3〜4分くらい。
ラグビートップリーグの試合もされるのに電光掲示板ではなく
手で入れ替える仕様のよう。
周辺はあまり高い建物がないので青空が大きく広がり気持ちがよかったです。

札幌月寒屋外競技場

2019年のラグビーワールドカップは札幌ドームで2試合行われるが
どっこい札幌にはラグビー専用スタジアムがあるスタンドからすぐ目の前にピッチがあるたまたま旅行の日程中に
2018年9月の地震で延期になった
ゲームが開催され観戦した見やすい競技場 30周年だとか大切にしたいものである

で札幌遠征。もちろん初めて。月寒中央駅を出て、どっちに行くのかから始まった。みんなが歩いていく方向に行ったら、あった、という感じ。陸上競技場ではないので、球技観戦、するには、見やすい。が、いかんせん、屋根が小さいというか、ほとんど、ない、ので、直射日光で暑い。バックスタンドの人は、さえぎるものがまったくない、から大変だったと思う。地方の球技場なので、これは仕方ない。帰りは、グランドのすぐ隣を歩いていくので、クールダウンしてる選手とは、1メートルくらいの距離になる。これは、いい。が、我々は節度はわきまえなければならない。定期的に訪問したいと思った球技場。

地下鉄の月寒中央駅からすぐでした。今回は、月寒屋外競技場でのラグビー観戦でしたが、体育館・テニスコート・カーリング場など、いろいろなスポーツが楽しめる場所でした。
