Went to the Autumn Food Festival. Food was great and you can have all the local foods and also food from all over the world. You will need to keep going because you won't be able to try all the interesting good food.

Visited during Autumn Fest 2016. Great intro to local food and beverage and to Sapporo's international outlook. Lunch or dinner its no doubt the place to sample incredible food and drinks in a convivial and friendly atmosphere from sea urchins, to abalone, to german sausages, beer and much more. Must go!

Excellent place to rest your feet and to have picnic lunch. Centre of Sapporo with many exits from subway and underground shops. Great landmark to know where you are. The tourist information centre is manned by volunteer guides and they can help you to take photos. At time of visit the autumn festival was held adding an air of fun.

We loved walking through this park, there was so much going on and a great place to sit and people watch while having a drink or bite to eat. Whilst we were there (summer) there was a garden display and competition as well as a food festival and stalls selling crafts. We were lucky enough to see celebrations with a... More

We happened to be in Sapporo during their annual Autumn Festival and it was amazing! The park was alive with 10 blocks worth of food stalls. Each park block had a featured sculpture or flower decoration which was an interesting scenery as you passed by. The food was fresh and delicious! However, I can imagine that when the park isn't... Glad enough to have a chance to join local food fest at odori park. It's once in a year. The fest was divided into different zones- par exemple ramen, grilled meat and seafood, ice cream, agricultural products, wine tasting etc. The joyful mood wasn't affected by rainy days. Tips for the fest: some of the stores are not paid in... More

I visited the Sapporo ice festival which was beautiful, however, DO NOT underestimate how cold it is at this time. Bearing in mind I am a snowboarder and used to temperatures of -15 at times. It was a good day to make use of the hot coffee machines. Saying that the street vendors were selling hot wine- saved the day!

This is the main park in Sapporo, depending on the time of the year, there are different flower plots that can be seen, which offers a nice walking option, after exploring other nearby sites such as Hokkaido Government building. This is a park that also hosts festival events in Sapporo, which is what we had an opportunity to catch one,... More

The beer garen was on whilst we were here. Thinking of having a beer after our dinner, we strolled to this park (just opposite to hotel). Imagine it was so pack tat , can't even 2 seats at 9pm. It was just wild, with that few famous brands promotion at their specific pavilion. The drinking crowd was just huge. Mostly... More
