a pretty campus, covered in white snow. Good to walk around. There's a cafe at the main gate for you to rest and have some coffee and light snacks. There is also a uni souvenir shop for you to purchase uni-related stuff

Came here in mid Oct but leaves in Gingko Tree Avenue have not completely turned to its peak colour yet. Though a tad disappointed, the autumn leaves were still breathtaking nonetheless. We had our leisure walks around the campus, tried vanilla and lavendar icecreams at the visitor/rest area plus collected plenty of pretty pine cones as souvenirs ;)

The Ginkgo Avenue during Autumn in the Hokudai is one of the many superb views in Hokkaido. Do not miss this season limited beauty when you come to Sapporo during Autumn. Around mid to late October. The Hokudai is a big place and it divided to many sectors, visit every part could take you some time.

The campus, especially in the summer, is a very pleasant place to walk and even sit and have something to eat.

This campus is one of largest university campus in Japan. The campus is like those in US, like park. There are some old historical buildings and the university museum, where tourist can enter. The best season to visit is the spring from May and the autumn in October. You may enjoy cherry blossom, but not like those in Honshuu island... More

Ten minutes walk from the Sapporo Station. Quite interesting, there is an information center near by the main entrance. The visitors can get a campus map and tourist information from the center. The campus is gorgeous. There are historical buildings, beautiful lawn and trees, especially the famous Gingko Avenue and Elm forest. Another must visit place is the Hokkaido University... More

Nice little walk, great for pictures and just a day for relaxing. We saw some student activities near the cafeteria where they had a bit of a skit happening.. It was really interesting to watch!

I did not have high expectation on this trip. However, my impression was proven wrong almost immediately upon setting foot in the campus. The campus ground was vast and I particularly liked the main admin building which features a cafe. The seating area of the cafe was fashioned in the form of a classroom which was interesting.
