Go here to experience various kinds of ramen. Good place to eat lunch or dinner. There are many ramen shops here so you can go back to try the other stores.

You have to go for the experience while in Sapporo. We selected the cafe that Anthony Bourdain visited. Very traditional with a bar at the counter to sit at. The noodles are cooked in front of you and only take a few mins. I am sure the other cafes are just as good.

This is a place to visit if you are not sure which ramen shop to go to when u are in town. There is various shop/stall in this area and with varieties of ramen. Despite the queue at each shop, it didn't take long for us to decide and had our tummy filled with a big bowl of ramen.

If you need to tuck into a soul loving bowl of ramen, head to the 10th Floor of ESTA near the train station and wander the streets of this place. You will find so many options and all will give you such great food, you will want to return right away. An absolute must for the visitors to Sapporo....I can still taste the magical food.

Good Ramen in ESTA JR Tower

Get out of the cold and head to the 10th floor of the ESTA Jr Tower. Eight different styles to choose from. Line up and wait for your turn to eat this awesome deliciousness! Ramen, gyoza and a cold beer to wash it down - what more could you ask for? My belly is full and I’m happy!
Highly recommended! Be prepared to wait in line especially during lunch/dinner. The good news is this place is open 365 days a tear from 11am-10pm. Also, there is free WiFi!

I would highly recommend visiting this place.
You will have choices of the different ramens Sapporo has to offer.

Located on the 10th floor of the esta building next to Sapporo Jr station.

The esta building is the one with Bic camera electronics store in it.

8 shops to choose from..a bit like the ramen alley in susukino area

Prices are reasonable too...

How to choose? I went with a recommendation and description in an article on ramen in Sapporo that recommended Yoshiyama Shoutin ( or should that be Shohin?) and have reviewed the place under a separate listing. This was also the choice of the locals, as it was the best patronised but I guess you won’t go wrongfully with any of them. One ( the last we came to) is in Michele Guide, serving ramen in the style of Asahikawa. The place is fun and the value excellent for very good ramen.

Nice place , inside esta shopping centre on 10F , many ramen stalls to choose from , walk towards daimaru shopping centre , just next to it .

If you have time, take a visit here at one of the eight ramen stands inside the Ramen Republic. The hard part is to make a decision on which one you want to try. Walk around first to check their menu. I believe there is one with Michelin recommendation all the way in the back. The one we tried was super delicious! This is in the ESTA building right next to the JR station, on the 10th floor.
