A great place for sightseeing, there is an Olympic museum located at the base of the Observatory. For the panoramic view, you have to catch the lift chair to the top with some charges. We were there during winter and it was snowing, so the...More

Got to sit on this 2 people only chair to go all the way up around 300m to look at the whole city. It was snowing at that time. Super chilly. Great experience.

My wife and I visited with local friends. The first thing that I noticed was the convenient (and free) parking at the road level for this attraction. In the U.S. someone would be charging $10 to park! After parking, it’s an easy ride up a...More

Take the chair lift up if you want a good view of the city of Sapporo. Best to go at night to see the lights. If you are a sport nut, fan of the winter Olympics, have kid, or enjoy active simulators, bundle your trip...More

I give it an average. What you have to think about is? This is the number one thing to do in Sapporo? That's pretty scary. I've been in Sapporo three days and let me tell you that's long enough.
