Very interesting museum about the Grand Canal, an ancient project spanning two thousand years, to connect Beijing with Hangzhou. Interesting and creative displays of the history, important figures, technology and what life used to be along the canal. Those who enjoy history will like it....More

The museum presents an excellent history of the canal with many dioramas and displays. You really get a sense of the magnitude of the endeavor. On a hot day, you'll appreciate the air conditioning.
