This mall is right on the doorstep of the New Hangzhou CBD - the mall is shaped like an "L" covering quite a distance in both directions of the "L". There are a number of high end outlets although most are local plus there are a range of restaurants for all tastes. Yesterday (Saturday) my friends and I had lunch at the "Old Folks Restaurant"...the stinky tofu, seafood noodle soup and omelette were the standout dishes. We window shopped as we wandered around - parts of the mal are not air-conditioned which was strange - there were also some small market stalls around the complex - gave it a hawker feel in those areas. There are plentiful underground parking spaces that cover the same area as the mall. If you know the location of the shop or restaurant you will visit, try to park as close as possible. My friends and I walked from one end of the "L" to the other...then back again - a bit of a trek no less! My friends tell me this is a popular mall - if you are in the area it is worth a visit.
