I booked the show as I read reviews that it was great. I was late for the show as I needed to attend to a business dinner before heading here. The ticking counter is about 15 mins walk to the theater. That did not help as I was already late. The show on the whole has a very huge cast... More

This is a typical chinese attraction park, with a wonderful show. The show itself is a top audio visual show with many artists and animals at stage. The only problem is people talking, using smartphones with flash, getting up, etc. So, even though the ticket price is high, try being near the front.

A very Chinese place, with a massive, incomprehensible show, running for over 20,000 times, catering to local entertainment requirements 6 time a day with a capacity of 1,000 people!

It's really awesome show and I don't want the show to end. The ticket was quite pricey (around 300RMB) but totally worth it. There are 2 special seat position inside the theater. First is the front seat which is moveable, give you some extra experiences, but during the water show, you might get wet. The second one is middle sofa... More

The ticket to go in is around 300RMB but it's massive inside and there is so much you can do. We have been told to go there during evening time and we're lucky not to listen but to head there earlier with costume try-outs, foods and many cultural stalls and areas. And during the evening, we watched the performance. This... More

The performance left me in awe and totally impressed. Ticket was very worth it due to the show. It was a multi dimensional effect. There were dance, acrobatic, real horses, very good lightings, fireworks, water etc. in my opinion, its one of the best musical/dance I have watched! Didi ride from Yan an road cost me 40rmb. It was a... More

The theme park part was kind of weird but lots of fun. We spent about 5 hours there before the big show and were never bored. There are at least three haunted house type attractions which we loved even if some were a bit tacky. The gambling den experience (near the main entrance) is really worth lining up for. We... More

Went on a wet a Sunday (Christmas!), but the family and I still had a great time! The Romance of the Song Dynasty was entertaining and gave a good, albeit brief account of how Hangzhou fitted into the Chinese history. The performers were also top notch. The street fare was surprisingly very good. A little higher priced, but very high... More

The park is overly commercialised and doesn't really know what it is, at once a replica of a historical village with themed shops all in historical dress, the same minute more of a kids and adolescence theme park with fun rides and ghost tours. A fun day for kids but adults would be left wanting more from the experience. The... More

Song Cheng is supposed to be a representation of what Hangzhou, once the capitol of China in the Song Dynasty, looked like back then. Unfortunately, apart from the musical performace, I found Song Cheng to be gimmicky and a complete tourist trap with nothing very interesting to do. When we went, it was full of tourists, mostly Chinese, and it... More
