I was lucky to have a friend who's family has a membership there. It's located in a very nice part of the West Lake and since it's guarded at the gates, it's quiet and the grounds are super clean and well maintained.

Went with a couple of friends, did not know much about it before. Caddies were very good, grass was great for China standards, only disappointing thing was the food was expensive in the cafe.

This is a splendid 18-hole golf course with a few holes on the back nine which look as though they were taken from a classic Chinese painting. There are some short but intimidating par 3. I was accompanied by a very accomplished woman caddy whose advice was flawless and assistance welcome. Finally, there is a good driving range.

I play golf here last week. This was about the tenth time I've played this course. The course is OK against worldwide standards, but I certainly wouldn't play it for any other reason than the experience, and it being in China. The layout is moderately challenging, the greens are OK and the fairways are OK as well. Please don't expect the same grass on fairways and greens that you find in the US and Europe. Best part of the whole experience is the caddies (mostly funny women) and the brand new rental clubs. And finally, make sure you bring golf balls and the right clothing as the golf shop is very expensive.

Played a quick nine holes as close to the City Hotel that I was staying at. Nice course with a lot of water hazards.
Simple pro shop and driving range, but note that on Saturday and Sunday is it $$$$$. There are better courses out of town if you have time.. And a car

I like this mature and never easy course. is easy to reach. maintanace of the greens or fairways has his good days and bad days, overall is ok. Staff are nice and helpful. only if you need a taxi back to the city, you might order it 4 holes before you finish, depending what day it is. Weekend might be even a nightmare.

When we played last October the
greens fee, club rentals and golf carts totaled about $400 for two of us. Female caddies also received tips of 200 to 300 RMB each.
