Thanks to Jah and his crew. this motorcycle tour to Everest Base Camp Tibet was stress free and detailed. Riding in China does require many special paperwork and everything was taken care of upon my landing. The Hotels and restaurants chosen for this tour were all excellent and in the best locations. The bike rental and route were all top notch also. I would definitely book another tour to somewhere else again in the future. Thanks to Jah for such a memorable experience!…

Our trip started in northern Laos and ended 7000 km later in Kashgar taking in Lhasa, Everest base camp and uncountable high pass crossings. Ride China with Jah at the helm guided us flawlessly on the ride and he was the perfect leader never loosing his temper although at times people in the group would disappear for hours having gone to the front and taken the wrong turn... I can thoroughly recommend Ride China and Jah for your trip through China!…

Flying into Lhasa needs special permits for foreigners, and everything went smoothly with the arrangements. After a couple of days in Lhasa to acclimatize, and seeing the amazing Potala Palace, it was time to head off into the mountains. The hotels and food were very simple, but to be expected in Tibet, and being able to reach an altitude of 5,248m after a mind blowing 108 curves on a mountain pass was amazing. The return trip was done after a small snow fall - adding to the riding experience. This is not a tour for beginners, but if you have a few years of road riding, you will be fine. The roads are mostly excellent. I guess the only small negative was that the authorities have now stopped visitors to the main Everest Base camp - so you only get to see the valley on the way .... our day was cloudy,, so we didn't get to see the main view we hoped for, but that is nature. Jah the guide along with the compulsory Tibetan support vehicle could not have been better .... great job !…
