Nothing special, a small place

Not much to see here. Some shops selling silverware, tea, marbles, and souvenirs inside. Nothing special, and nothing lost if you do not come here.

It's a beautiful portal. We went by while trying to find the shopping malls area. We also found a lot of beautiful local handcrafts shops nearby. It's just a portal . Worth taking photos.

Two gates symbolize the center of old Kunming. At the entrance of Zhengyi Rd pedestrian mall with its many new revitalized shops and restaurants just off remains of old buildings that thankfully have not been torn down to preserve the original flavor of old Kunming. The Hump Hostel is here, frequented by many international travelers and backpackers.

I don't know much detail about these two gates but they are like the symbol of Kunming city. Some tell me that there's Kunming map on the floor but I cannot find it. The area is quite energetic, both local people and travellers visit it. There are many modern shopping complexes and also tea shops and souvenir market near the... More

One of the landmark of the area. Unique name as its facing two different mountain. Worth a visit if u have spare time. There's many eateries there. Most of the shops sell similar stuff

This landmark can be considered as the start of the main shopping street in Kunming. Good for photos, that's all. Main shopping street is also quite boring.

As suggested in the title, there is nothing special around the area apart from some touristy shops and restaurants. The old gates are nice and that's it....

Everything there really makes you feel that you are in China: lovely pagodas, market, statues, jade counters. Nice souvenirs in the shops but they don't accept international credit cards so take cash with you!

This is such one of the Best Gate in China for my first time in China. It is the first place of me in Kunming.
