We visited China in April 2014 and Alex was our tour guide, but he wasn't just a tour guide. He was a history teacher, a language teacher, social studies teacher - sometimes a parent, "be on time", "stick together", "sanitize," and sometimes a comedian. Alex took a personal interest in each of our party of 21 and worked hard to see that we all had a great time. I highly recommend Alex to anyone visiting China, especially in Xi'an he made you feel as if he is hosting a family.

Helen provided us with a day long tour while we were in Xi'an. She did a fantastic job! She met us at the airport the night before, had the driver take us to our hotel, made sure we were comfortable with the hotel room and then the next day met us at 8AM for our tour. We had an amazing tour and packed a lot into the day. Since we had very limited time in Xi'an, she worked diligently to ensure we were able to see all of the highlights and have a very memorable and enjoyable experience.

At the end of the day, I was getting a bit tired and she was very accommodating, we sat for a while and she even had some candies to share with me. Helen has such a kind heart and she wants to make sure that everyone has a great experience.

After the tour, she also recommended a nice restaurant close to the Wild Goose Pagoda. I don't remember the exact name of the place, but I believe it was Chinese Folk. It was excellent and very reasonably priced.

If you are planning a trip to Xi'an, you could contact China Insight Travel and ask for Helen! I would also recommend spending at least 3 full days in Xi'an.

We traveled to China in 2013 and Alex was our guide. The trip to China was the best and a large portion of that experience was due to the guidance and knowledge of Alex. We would travel anywhere with Alex as our tour guide. He is knowledgeable of the Xi'an area, explains things in details, shares his cultural/personal experience, patient, kind and caring. Provides accurate historical facts. Alex once searched the streets of one city for hearing aide batteries at 10 o'clock at night (hard to find American hearing batteries in China) and delivered them to me the next morning. Unbelievable service! You will not be disappointed!

My friend and I took our first trip to China and had Alex as our main guide. There were 20 of us and Alex kept everything very organized. He has excellent knowledge of all the places we visited, one of which is Xian and the Terra-cotta Warriors, one of the seventh wonder of the world. It was awesome to witness! As we toured the area, Alex gave us a historic account of how the terra-cotta warriors came about. We were grateful for these insights. Xian is a very beautiful area especially the country side. Alex speaks very good English and is very pleasant and polite throughout the whole trip. He is funny and kept us entertained when we were traveling in the bus/coach. He kept us informed of the local customs and history of each area we visited. He made sure we have plenty to eat, lots to see and make sure we were germ free by reminding us to sanitize. He is a wonderful tour guide and one you would want to have guide you through your tour of China. He is the best!

Alex was a great tour guide at the start of our tour of the Silk Road in Xian in May, 2014. He was very knowledgeable of Xian, Chinese history, and, the surrounding area. He took us to see many interesting and beautiful locations at times of the day that enhanced their beauty. His spoken English was perfect and he had a great sense of humor and shared some personal stories that added a great deal to our appreciation of him and the area. He was one of the best travel guides I've had across Asia, North American or Europe. He was also very courteous and interacted very well with all the members of our tour group. I would look for him to guide my next tour of central China!

We visited china in spring last year and of course one of the highlights of the trip was our visit to Xian and the terracotta warriors. This was only improved by the knowledge, experience and friendliness of Alex who looked after us during our stay there. He was a great guide with huge expertise and enthusiasm for his work. Well done Alex and on setting up your new business.

Our guide, Becky Luo led my Deaf group, alumni of Gallaudet University in Washington DC, 3-days tour around the historic highlights of Xian. We were so much pleased to have her with us like a family member. For the entire 3-day tour, she carried with her a white small board and marker to communicate with us in English. She also gave us written notes about each of the sites in advance. She was knowledgeable about the historical sites, friendly, and took well care of us. We toured the Muslim Quarter and passed through a narrow bazaar street lined with shops, visited the Folk-House-Gao Family and enjoyed the tea ceremony. We also toured the incredible life-size Terracotta warriors and the Ancient City Walls. I highly recommend her as your guide.

We toured in July 2014
Thank you Becky!

Xi'an could have been just one of those cities with a few historic sites but for the excellent guide, Connie Liu. She is a very professional guide that clearly loves her job, her culture and showing visitors her city. She showed us the sites in a way that allowed us to appreciate them giving us time to study them yet not to get bored by them. It is a city with so much to see be it the city walls, the temples, the terra cotta army, and so much more. A guide can make a trip or not but Connie certainly made mine. I highly recommend her to anyone thinking of visiting Xi'an.

Connie Liu came to meet our group at Xi'an airport. I spent many months planning and organizing the private tour for our family from the US. I felt very much at ease when I met Connie. A tour guide must like people and story telling. Connie is a natural. More than that, we can tell that she sincerely cares for her clients. Our 3- day stay in Xian was wonderful. Every restaurant she took us we loved. For every thing we needed, we just talk to Connie. In Xi'an we think of two things; terra-cotta warriors and Connie.
From Xi'an we went on Yangtze river cruise, Shangri la and Kunming crisscrossing China. We wish Connie could come with us.

Connie met us at the airport and was our guide for approximately 2-1/2 days. She was knowledgeable, friendly, professional, inquisitive about the States and her English was superb. Xian was more memorable because of her ability to bond with all those in our group and her desire to "go the extra mile". Xian is much more than just the terracotta warriors, and Connie was instrumental in exposing us to the other wonders of this beautiful city.
