If you like colours, noise, action, aromas, then you will love this market. We had so much fun and walked around for a least two hours. It was so full of life especially at night.

Amazing location with spectacular views of the drum tower and the Bell tower. There are tons of Muslim / Chinese inspired dishes, restaurants, and street vendors to feed your needs.
You need to see it in person to really grasp the business of this location.
Plenty of small shops in the marketplace with goods for sale.
Definitely worth a visit when in Xi'an

The market is very crowded during evenings but if you come early morning you can get very good price of the souvenirs etc. (Only if you bargain). The food is very good. I visited xian 5 days and came back every day.

It was nice, good food lovely sites but honestly nothing special. If you want to buy lots of gifts then great. If you don't still go for the sites. Quite pretty. Just don't expect your mind to be blown.

This market is known as the Muslim Market in Xian and it is close to the subway and close to the Bell Tower. The markets are large and the variety of food is great (and I am not a great lover of eastern cuisine). We tried many different types of food from meat kebabs on a huge bamboo skewer, squid on a stick (yum), fried potato with chilli and the most famous dish of this market, mutton noodle soup. Everyone is friendly, watch your purse like you do most places but it's a great day adventure.

Place is great if you are just into food. Nothing else besides food here. Better off if you have a mix of other activities as well.
