這家店真的是一言難盡，當年開業叫民生國際不過也看不出國際在哪，鐘樓商圈百貨已經夠多無需再來一個重複copy的店，雖然她連接了地鐵站還有一個專門的出入口，不過得上好幾折的樓梯，從這個口走的人也是稀少。
無奈這家百貨既沒有影院也沒有品牌特色，除了門口的LOGO顏色蠻好看的外沒有任何特點，所以這麼多年過去了已經走到了倒閉的邊緣。
只有一層還稀稀拉拉的有店鋪和大廳特賣，其餘層都封閉了，令人唏噓如果不是直梯的話扶梯都關閉了只能自己走上去，五層全部外包給亞特健身，二三四層封閉，六層還有幾家餐廳開著不過也剩下個別其餘也都關了，搞成這樣雖然有競爭關係但是和民生管理層不思進取有相當大的關係。
