It is an amazing walk over the wall watching the city . I wish I had time to walk along it all or renting a bike to make a complete tour over it. The Wall of Xian is different than the Great Wall in Beijing and it is completely preserved. It deserves to be visited.

Don't miss this gem. The terracotta warriors are good but so is this. Well preserved and restored with a grand walk way up to the moated entrance gates. Remember your passports to get in. Tickets are at road level and then walk up. As you enter the inner courtyard before climbing up to the wall there is a good little... More

Get a bike and enjoy the wall which is a genuine showoff for the Chinese emperors. You can still that power when going around or on the wall. A must do. Plenty of shops around and the usual food stalls/restaurants make it complete.

This is the most popular and busiest entrance and portion of the wall catering to tourists. Walk, rent a bike or take a golf cart to distance yourself from traffic and appreciate views and learn from bilingual plaques in English and Chinese.

It is so rare that you could still find an complete wall of ancient times. Thousands of years. and you could still fell its height, brave and grand. You could even hire a bike on it, to have a circle run, it is about 2 hours.

As the rest of the walls and gates, this one is in very good condition. We believe that it looks spectacular at night. You decide!

The South Gate area is buzzing during the day and late at night. The area is surrounded by little restaurants and bars.
