I found that Dacien Temple was not that rushed if you visited here in afternoon on weekdays. Liked it.

The monks and other Buddhists were in prayer, chanting, which made the visit all the more special. It was interesting to see women practitioners participating in the services.

Loved the grounds, gardens, and beautifully restored temples. Loved the experience of buying and burning the incense. Appreciated the sculptures and the Pagoda Garden. Quiet serene place for meditating and strolling, even though there were many visitors and tourists (though thankfully not many non-Asian visitors).
