Cycling two provinces of China. This is an fully supported and updated bike route from the Southeastern Guizhou province, where the habitat of Dong and Miao people lives to Guangxi province, and it is a mix of the cycling and cultural excursions to rural areas and local lives. After Guizhou, cyclists will continue the cycling and best scenery along the famous Li River and north of Guangxi province where limestone landscape locates. The average cycling per day is no more than 50-60KMS and the busy inevitable roads with cars will be avoided by supporting van transfers. E-bikes can be tailor made for less experienced biker who like to join the tour and the extra fee can be paid in cash. I was looking for a cycling trip that would allow us to experience rural China. Guilin Cycling tour provided that in spades. Robert who I corresponded with, designed a trip that suited our dates & cycling fitness. The bikes provided were very comfortable & the right size. We never cycled out of busy towns, the roads chosen were sealed, rural forested valleys & interesting minority group villages. Forest Wu our guide was superb and spoke excellent english. He grew up in the country in the country then went to collage and was able to tell us first hand about rural life & the changes rural China has been through in the last 20 years. He has an excellent knowledge of Chinese history. Some of the villages we cycled through only had 1 restaurant but we always has delicious food.Mr Lee our driver was very patient, we were very well cared for, Nothing was too much trouble.…

My husband and I spent 5 weeks cycling in Yunnan and Guilin provinces. We travel alot and have had different guides over the years. The Guilin Cycling Tour guides and drivers were the best we've ever had! They were very thoughtful, knowledgeable, fun and went the extra mile to ensure we had a spectacular trip. They did a fantastic job researching the best routes so that we were away from traffic and saw local life. The biking was amazing and diverse, and they tailored the route to our desires. We biked through spectacular mountain scenery, small villages, forests and more. They were very adaptable in adjusting the distance (and even dietary requirements) to our needs. In addition to the biking, we saw amazing dancing and world-class shows, and hiked in beautiful national parks. Yunnan and Guilin are both incredible in terms of culture and scenery. We'd always wanted to go to Tibet, and felt we experienced some of what it's like in Yunnan. We'd highly recommend Guilin Cycling Tours! We hope to travel with them again.…

Hi Anne, I thought you were going to write a very long story about everything happened during our time together for those trips but it looks like you are such an excellent manager with great skills of making summary. We are so happy to be chosen by you from 20 bike tour companies and the tour with you in Yunnan was my most impressive thing (including my falling there) this year for sure, I hope we find ride somewhere else together again, big mountains! haha... Thank you for your bookings and your great lessons and suggestions to us, and thank you again for being open minded and calling Robert (me) as a great ambassador to China. You are also great representatives of Canadians and human with invisible sprits!

We chose a 10 day Guilin cycling Tour with Robert and it was fantastic. Robert and his back up Mr Li were very personable , friendly and highly professional cyclists. The scenery around Guilin is fantastic and Robert selected the route with great care to avoid the many local road improvement projects and major traffic spots. This made for a very risk free trip and allowed us to take in the incredible beauty of the region as well as get in some serious riding. Always backed up with the support vehicle which was stocked with plentiful supplies of water and snacks and having such knowledgeable and dedicated support ensured a very enjoyable and memorable tour. Thanks Robert and the stylish Mr Li!…

Wonderfully memorable trip. We learned so much about rural Guangxi. The landscape was beautiful and people were friendly. Our guide Forrest and driver Jackie made everything seamless, interesting and enjoyable. When it rained and plans needed to be changed Forrest always had a good back-up option. Forrest is a special person. His character and kindness added so much to the trip. His English is perfect yet he went out of his way to help my son, who is studying Mandarin, practice. Forrest took us off the tourist trail introducing us to local China. He also took us to a cave where no one else was and we ate with a local family who generously shared the first of their delicious seasonal organic grapes. Robert was very helpful and patient while we were scheduling the tour. He helped curate an itinerary especially for us. After the tour his follow-up message was so kind. We couldn’t have travelled with a more personal or attentive agency.…

My husband and I had a few days to spare in Guilin/Yangshuo so signed up for a 4 day bike tour that took us through incredibly beautiful countryside in the area, including small ancient villages, scenic fields and challenging mountains which comprised part of the UCI Guangxi course. The course was mostly on-road but there was some off-road component as well which we really enjoyed. We stayed a night in Daxu, a picturesque old village in a lovely small hotel that was a converted historic house, and another night in Xingping in a more modern hotel in a room with a huge terrace with a stunning view overlooking the karst mountains. Robert was our guide and did a fantastic job setting us up on our bikes, leading our cycling, ordering excellent local dishes for us to try at lunch and dinner etc. He also did well dealing with the sort of hiccups that are inevitable with travel such as a delayed flight arrival that meant a last minute change to our itinerary and then heavy rain that scuppered our cycling plans on the last day. Arranging everything was also very smooth - quick and informative responses to my email enquiries then agreeing a detailed itinerary clearly stating the inclusions and exclusions in the price. I would highly recommend Guilin Cycling Tours…
