We were a group of 9 persons ( 3 family) including 3 children. The China leg of our trip was planned from 22nd to 25th Dec.
I have identified TCT as the travel service provider from Trip Advisor. Managed to get a Whatsapp contact from the website and got connected with the tour consultant Ms.Yocky. It was pretty smooth sailing from that point onwards. She helped me conclude a daily itinerary after reviewing various options. Offered us a flexible payment option as well.
We arrived in Guangzhou on the 22nd Dec. Welcomed by TCT guide Ms.Julin at the airport exit. Transferred us to the Bullet train station and handed over the train tickets and helped with all necessary inputs to get into the right platform and train.
At the Guilin station we were welcomed by Ms.Sera who was our tour guide for the next 3 days. Ms.Sera was extremely good with her English, flexibility and having great attitude. My son wasn’t feeling well the day we arrived at Guilin and Ms.Sera volunteered to take me and my son to the local hospital in the night.Overall she appeared to be a staff who does the extra mile to make the life easy for the customer.
Overall I would highly recommend the services of TCT and I give 5Stars to Ms.Yocky for the outstanding efficiency with which helped arrange the trip and Ms.Sera for being a great tour guide.
Note: a note for improvement suggestion. On our return train trip from Guilin to Guangzhou we ended up in 2 compartments of the train. 5 persons in one bogie/ coach and the rest in another one. We were booked in the business class and the train had only 10 business class seats. 5 in one coach and 5 in another coach. We should have told this upfront so that we could have planned the travel in another class. This was the only coordination issue I found. Please take note for such matters in the future.

TCT did an excellent job on arranging the tour for me, their responses are fast and attentive to my needs, their tour guides are knowledgable and well-trained, to make sure my requirements are well taken care of.
I would recommend TCT to anyone who is looking for a trouble-free and enjoyable tour if you are travelling in China, cos they will take care everything for you.

Lily, we have returned to Los Angeles and I wish to personally thank you for all of your several attentions. While I'm sure there will be an appropriate place for a formal review I will take the time here to express my appreciation for the professional way you and your company handled everything. We are very experienced travelers and I did something I would not ever do nor advise anyone to do: I picked your company at random off the internet based on what seemed to fit my goals without knowing anything about your company nor having any referrals from anyone who had worked with you before. This is risky and I assumed that risk with some hesitation. I am pleased that my initial instinct prevailed. Everything you did worked beautifully! We do not have a single complaint. For what it is worth, the local guide "Emily" was superior, and the driver did exactly what he was supposed to do. I would not hesitate to use again nor recommend you, your company, the local guide at any time in the future.

My family had three senior citizens (2 in their seventies and 1 in her sixties) along with a disabled (autistic) person in her forties and TCT took good care of all of us. We had a private tour (five of us) for a week in Beijing and Shanghai. Kudos to our Beijing guide Sisi who ensured that facilities were available to aid my family members through the long walks and ensured we had disabled access for wheelchairs and such. Highly recommend Sisi for Beijing tours as not only is she patient, friendly and cheerful but she takes the initiative to arrange the tour in a way that allows all the sites to be covered in an orderly manner without unnecessary delays or queues. I would also recommend Mary for the tour in Shanghai as she manage to ensure our Shanghai tour ran smoothly as well and took the initiative to actually wait at the ticket counter a few hours earlier to ensure we had tickets for the Huangpu river cruise.
Overall, it was a memorable trip and special thanks to Lily from TCT who was patient with me to slowly plan out this private tour along with accommodating all my requests. TCT is a real deal and can be trusted.

For my trip to China I consulted a dozen agencies found through online research, as I wanted to skip the middlemen who inevitably drive up prices a lot. TCT immediately gave me a good impression: the travel agent who contacted me, Yocky, immediately warned me that the days I had chosen were national holidays, and that Beijing would be very crowded and much more expensive; she was extremely patient and helped me to build a truly tailor-made trip, fulfilling all my requests (even that of not making "obligatory" stops at various shops). I also chose the hotel I preferred, all for a very honest cost. At the airport our Private Guide, Linda, was waiting for us, and was available to me and my daughter for the duration of the tour, in which we were always accompanied by a private driver and we skipped all the lines, as tickets had already been purchased. Linda has also always taken us to eat in authentic and really great restaurants, always following our preferences. At the end of the trip we were escorted to the airport, until the security checks. I will definitely go back to China, because I was really fascinated, and it will definitely be with this agency.
A very important Recommendation: make sure you activate your e-sim (with a lot of traffic included) BEFORE landing in China, or buy a Chinese physics one at the airport on arrival: Internet is essential to make the most of your stay in China

I booked an 18 day customised China tour covering 5-6 cities with TCT for me and my family. I can honestly say it was a great experience. In every city that we reached, we had a guide and driver waiting for us who stayed till the end, and then put us on the necessary plane/train to the next city, where we would be met by another guide and driver.
All their guides were good, with proper english skills, and communication was never an issue (which is still quite a big problem in China). Any cancellations, unforeseen changes of plan were expertly handled, and swiftly dealt with. I can safely say that without TCT, this trip would have been much more of a headache.
Our planner Joyce- was especially helpful, answering all my queries promptly and clearly. I am very particular about my trips, and plan everything myself—this can be annoying for a travel agent, but Joyce accommodated all my requests.
I also have to mention price here- they were very accommodating on the budget as well, and everything was done to my specifications as per my budget. I highly recommend this company for your China travels.

Beautiful experience with Top China Travel.
We had a private tour (couple) travelling 15 days and everything was excellent: hotels, food, attractions, transports, services...
We spent a truly great time with our drivers and tour guides: Bejing – Willow, Pingyao – Lisa, Xi’An – Jason, Chengdu – Rosalie, Guilin – Colin, Shanghai – our driver.
China is a memorable travel, arrange it with the help of the agency was necessary and useful, because you have to move a lot, far away, between attractions.
I would recommend everyone to rely on Top China Travel, also because comparing with other competitors (international group tours) the price of Top China Travel is really convenient and quality is super.
Thanks again to all the people we met along the way!

We are family of 6 pax (2 adult, 2 kids and 2 senior), had a wonderful trip to China. We visited Beijing, Luoyang, Xian, Chengdu and Shanghai.
I would like to thank to TCT for all the arrangement and support for my fam's trip.
All the accomodation such as transportation, hotel, restaurant, driver and tour guide, time arrangement are prefect, escpecially the service and attitude.

I was in Kunming & Dali in mid July 2024, I guess I made the right decision to engage Top China Travel (TCT). The tour consultant, Ms Joyce Tang has been very patient and accommodative to our requests, and suggested some changes to our own itinerary. Without her, we would have made a mess of the trip.
Our arrival (2.05 am) and departure (3.05 am) were in the middle of the night, the arrangements to & from the airport were very well arranged.
On the two tour guides, I have read quite a lot of very good reviews about Vivian, and we were very happy that she was assigned as our guide in Kunming. Reviews about her by other tourists are genuine, she was really very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and professional.
The other guide in Dali was also very helpful, we planned a special event in Dali, and Linda was game enough to adjust the itinerary to find time to accommodate the special event, and also suggested the venues.
It was indeed a very enjoyable free and easy tour. I have no hesitation to recommend Top China Travel (TCT) to anyone planning a trip to China

We planned for a visit to Shantou and approached TCT for suggestion of an itinerary. Joyce Tang was our consultant and she proposed an excellent itinerary connecting our visit with layover at Guangzhou. The guide Tony was there waiting for us at the airport and he was very accommodating to our many requests. The driver was also very skilful and patience with us stepping down from the bus first each time and placed and steadied a stool so that we can alight safely. A very good team effort from TCT.

Have booked and aid for our trip to China with TCT . Do they send you transport / hotel vouchers before you travel?

TCT do not offer separate transport/hotel vouchers to tourist when they book as most of our tourists booked a comprehensive tour service with us, including tours with guide and car service, hotels, airport/train-hotel transfers, internal flights/train . Therefore, when you book your tour with TCT, they will send you a comprehensive confirmation letter to you. The service will be offered as what the travel advisor confirm to you as your discussion. When you arrive at each stop the guide will pick you up by holding your name board. When you arrive at hotels or scenic spots as well as restaurant, everything has been arranged invance.
If you only book hotels, train tickets or transfer service with TCT, you will get a separate voucher when you book. If you book only a flight tickets, they will get the e-tickets with ticket number before your trip.

Si es 100% fiable... en un principio yo también dudé. Si necesitas visa de entrada para China te envian los documentos necesarios para solicitar la visa en el consulado. Los pagos se hicieron via PayPal y ellos te envian el recibo de pago. El tour fue según lo coordinado. La carta de confirmación te dice los lugares que vas a visitar, en que hotel te hospedaras en cada ciudad, los números de viaje en tren y avión. Te envian los nombres y telefonos de los guias de cada ciudad. Mi tour fue personalizado y estoy satisfecho porque fui a los lugares que yo queria visitar.

We followed the suggestion in their quotation letter: "tips to the guide: 1 person CNY 150-200/day, 2 people in a group CNY100 day/person, 3-5 people in a group: 70 CNY/day/people, 6-9 people in a group: 50 CNY/day/people, ≥10 people in a group: 30 CNY/day/people. The tip to the driver would be half the amount given to the guide and the driver"

Hello,
Can I book the tour so I have the cruise from Guilin to Yang Shuo on 29/08 and stay in Yang Shuo that night? Are you able to get me back to Guilin on 30/09 in the early evening perhaps? How long is the cruise to Yangshuo? How will I be taken back to Guilin and how long will that take.
I can book my own hostel in Yangshuo for the 29th. I’d like to have enough time in Yangshuo to do some small hikes and see the moon hill.

Our tour included the cruise to Yang so as well it arrived in the afternoon and we took a walking tour of the city on the way to our hotel and returned to Guilen by car the next day. I was able to add days to my tour and Top China travel was flexible allowing me yo change and add stops to the "standard tour" so I am confident you will be able to add a day in Yang So.
