This was our second hike within walking distance from the hotel. It was fun and the view from the top was excellent

History & a great view
Oct 2019
It was quite a lot of steps (350) to the top but the view was worth it when we got there. The caves themselves are very interesting with Buddha statues carved out the walls (over 1000 years old), as part of a wlak around the lakes a great thing to do.

My 3 year old was able to climb the steps up to the top and the views were great of the Li river. Worth a quick visit

Lots of steps
Jun 2019 • Couples
The views from Fubo Hill have the potential to give great panorama's. However, on our visit it was very humid and cloudy, making the walk to the top of the hill quite tiring. That said, it's worth the effort.

Dont forget to go inside of the small caves and corridors. But be careful if you tend to feel claustrophobic.

Short visit, nice for a rainy day
Jun 2019 • Couples
While it appears that you you can climb the hill on our rainy day we appreciated touring the small cave complex with the intricate carvings and displays. We didn’t spend too long there due to the weather, but was still a nice stop on our day-tour.

Can see the city! Wonderful!
May 2019 • Couples
It was a hot day sometimes showers. We decided to climb. At first it was not so hard, but the more we climbed up stairs, the more we felt tired.

When we reached at the top, very wonderful view of the city was seen and we could feel very comfortable wind. It was so nice!

On our way back we met people who were climbing up in spite of that we didn't meet anyone. The passage was so narrow that we had to wait for when we met.

Climbing up the hill was a little hard but a good experience

Great View, Good Workout
May 2019 • Couples
This attraction was part of our private tour arrangement.

Had to climb a pretty steep flight of steps to get to the top. May be a bit of a workout for those who do not exercise or are unfit. There is a landing/rest area about half way up.

You will be rewarded with a very good view of Guilin from the top.

At the base, the is a cave with (if I am not wrong) Tang Dynasty sculptures of Buddhist images and calligraphy.

Nice place to visit if you want to have a birds eye view of Guilin City although, there are 2 other hills nearby which also gives you a overall view of Guilin.

very small, but it is worth the time
Nov 2018 • Family
a very small mountain in the center of the city. Has a nice view of the city and a nice sized cave. It is nice to Diecai Hill, which is much bigger. So my suggestion is combine these two for one day's woth of Guilin.
