Statues in the middle of CLUBMED resort - strange idea indeed
Sep 2020
As we were staying at CLUBMED Guilin, we were indeed right inside the park. The statues are interesting, distributed over a vast area and well maintained park. Nothing extraordinary there, but a pleasant experience , at least for the residents of CLUBMED. I will not advise to "travel" there, only if we stay at CLUBMED, or nearby

Now, it is a wellness resort
Jul 2019 • Friends
What used to be just a park with sculptures was turned into a luxurious wellness resort. You will have to pay 480 yuan for a one-day ticket (no discounts!). If you have this information, a day trip might be worth it as you can do all kinds of activities like golf, climbing, mountain biking, tennis etc.

It was so interesting to walking around trying to understand what the sculptors had mean by that art, and than to read if we were right. Nice place to visit!

Ordinary park with faded artworks.

We were not at all impressed with our walk through this park. It is decorated with numerous statues/figures constructed from fabric stretched over wire frames. we did not find the statues particularly beautiful or interesting, and the very faded fabric and rusting frames did not help.

If your time is short, the I would not bother with this one.

Interesting

It was interesting to walk through the garden filled with big colorful sculptures made of a material that looks like paper but obviously is not paper.

Great sculpture in a beautiful karst setting

Easy to get to by bus from either Guilin or Yangshuo. Great staff and beautiful grounds but rather expensive at 100 RMB per ticket, especially if you have a large family. It is a good idea to take a picnic lunch as the local restaurants are crazy expensive. The entire park is said to be well over 8000 mu so there is plenty to explore. My other complaint is that the tropical greenhouse is not open to the public. Still there is plenty here to occupy a day.
