This boat ride wasn't part of the itinerary on our tour, but we had read about it and asked our guide to add it to the tour. We were so glad we did because it was a magical experience. We had perfect weather to view the postcard worthy and well-lit Sun and Moon Towers as we started out from the... More

A trip on modern boats...twilight and night....bridges lit up and designs in the tunnel...buildings beautifully lit along the bank...demonstration of Cormorant Fishing, singing, damcing.....a brilliant jaunt. I loved it.

The scale and beauty of this urban park is impressive. The views of the pagodas from across the small lake is calming and the paths through the park make you feel you are not in a city. Worth the trip

Walking The Lakes gives a good view of the other side of Guilin ( - the trip down the river is the highlight!). We walked in the morning, leaving us in an ideal place for lunch.

The wheather is so bad, the bamboo boat was not allowed to operate, need to carry umbrella all the time, slippery ground, need to take full attention.

Very well conserved buildings, it is worth to see but will take you only 30 minutes to quietly turn around the lake and check the view. Nice pictures are guarantee.

Great place to have a stroll, evening or daytime, most busy of an evening, everything is lit for effect, pagodas especially photogenic Be wary of mosquitoes if weather is humid.

The light show in Yangshuo Guilin can only be described as a spectacular outdoor theatre. Performance nightly (weather permitting) on the River Li, with over 600 performers. The mountains, 12 in all, serve as a backdrop which were lit up...... as were the dancers, singers, boat people etc. This show was magical and told an amazing story, proof that music... More

Despite the rain, our night lake cruise was a highlight of our time in Guilin! The boats offer indoor seating, but get out on the viewing deck (bring an umbrella or poncho, it's worth the views!) to get the best panoramic views of the lake. The pagodas, bridges, pathways and hotels are lit at night and the scenery is beautiful.... More
