Fantastic view and scenery! Te boats are really slow so some times it feels that you are just seeing the same things all over, but to be honest it is good that the boats are slow so you can really appreciate the view.

I booked a hostel in Guilin and there was nothing to do there, otehr than walking arund, going to the square and eating. Lijiang has a lot to offer, speacilly... More

I never see such fantastic view. Mountain shape is special, Clouds produce a fantastic world. It's really nature image of an old China story. There is the place of 20RMB Bill. I visited several place in China. Here is one of my favorite place. Fantastic!

Whenever I recall my China trip, the first thing that jumps into my mind is the mesmerising scenery of the mountains and the reflection on he river...as you look around with short breaths from the boat both Hubby and I boarded for a promenade... I did not know which was more important to start liking like a lunatic on my... More

We enjoyed the boat trip, seeing all the water buffaloes and people fishing. The river where we were was quite shallow, so my buddy and I found cold beers on the boat, sat out the front and watched China and the dragons teeth go by! My partner and I enjoyed the walk through the village leading too the boat. Lots... More

The main purpose when we decided to visit Guilinn is visit the Lijiang river. Although we went on rained day, but it's still beautiful. Place has less foreign visitor.

Peaceful well kept gardens. There is a lot of walking but you will want to keep going. Fantastic scenery. Not sure what the enterance fee was as it was included in our tour but it was expensive for tourists. I loved visititing there and everyone was very helpful and shops inside were good value. Of course you have to bargain... More

Marvellous scenic view of the hills and water. BUT this postcard view has been spoilt by ugly concrete houses popping up every corner of the landscape. The locals must be upgrading. Met another traveller. It is his second visit after 30 years. He is just as disappointed.
