Looking for wax figure of Mr Lee Kuan Yew, late PM of Singapore
May 2019 • Couples
In 2017 when we visited this museum, we were surprised to see life-like figure of Mr Lee Kuan Yew and we took many pictures with him. However, on our way to our hotel, someone took our mobile and all the photos were lost. This time in 2019, we visited the museum again just to take pics with him. However, we were shocked to see that his wax figure is no longer there. Instead we see film actor Eric Tsang, Mr Bean and some other popular figures. Facebook Mr Mark Zuckerberg, Microsoft Bill Gates and some other Americans were there. When we queried the attendants, they told us that new owners have taken over. But what happened to the wax figure of Mr Lee Kuan Yew ? As we walked, we wondered, but all too soon, the exit door was in front of us. The entrance fees is CNY 120 and at the time of our visit, there were only two of us.

A fun outing
Feb 2019 • Friends
While we have been to several wax museums all around the world, this was quite a nice experience too. Lots of famous celebrities, and local Chinese celebs too. Some of them look super realistic. Its a nice place to spend a couple of hours and the kids will surely enjoy being here. Ticket prices are not too bad either.

A bit of fun
May 2017 • Friends
Have been to the original Madame Tussauds, so this is best described as being OK, but not as good. Still it's good fun to do with Chinese friends... and there are few exhibits topical to China. I put myself in some photos and fooled friends on Facebook and Wechat... so some exhibits are fairly convincing. Alternatively, maybe my friends are gullible and easily fooled.

Good but not great.

Some of the wax figures look identical to the original person while others don't. The museum is rather small. You can finish it in 30 minutes maximum. The staff there are laid back and don't mind if you touch the figures.

Nice experience

I liked the visit to this wax museum. It can be considered a cheaper version of Madame Tussaud's. The location is very accessible. Entry fee is reasonable.

Just like Madame Tussauds

Excellently located in the bottom of Canton Tower. Making it easily accessible by public transport. I recommend you spend at least one hour here. The entrance fee is $100 CNY. If your plan is to also see the Canton Tower you can purshase a packaged deal.

I would have given it 5/5 but I just don't feel like all the celebrities looked exactly like them. I recommend you come here if you have always wanted to visit Madame Tussauds. This museum is considerably cheaper and only has one or two Chinese celebrities inside so you should be able to recognise almost all wax figures.

I visited the museum on a rainy day and was only one of a few people inside at the time.
