The AEON supermarket is located in the basement of GT land plaza. Lots of fresh produce, vegetables, fruits etc. including a fairly large section of meats and packaged goods. They have ample check out counters and you will find trolleys to carry your purchase. Good for a family visit as well.

Travel the metro to "Zhujiang New Town" and take the exit which is marked "GT PLAZA Guangzhou friendship center" keep walking past Pizza hut etc and you will enter the grocery store. You can buy Alcohol, fruit, biscuits etc... Reasonably priced and conveniently located.

I just wish to highlight that Aeon department store does not provide plastic bag for my purchase. This is a practice in the right direction to cut down on the use of plastic. Luckily I brought a carrier bag with me. The cashier just left my newly purchased bra on the counter without any explanation.

This is one of the other good süpermarkets in Guangzhou and frankly speaking l do not understand why this kind of supermarket is included in TripAdvisor as there must be many others into the same category.This is not fair.Otherwise,nothing more we can say about it.An ordinary market only.

We are always pleased to revisit supermarkets which can cater for our weekly/monthly groceries. AEON is one of them. Recent improvement measures by the management have made this supermarket more friendly through more merchandises and displays and faster processing at cashier counters. It presents an excellent place for family shopping.

As we’re staying in hotel in the CBD area, Aeon which is around 350m away, is conveniently located. A full supermarket with hot meal available; it carries all type of fruits including durian. You will never be short of choice.

This supermarket sells everything fresh and high quality. There are different types of fruits on the shelves, the shop assistants will be there cutting one or two popular fruits for consumers to try or taste before purchasing...there are also lots of seasonal vegetables, red and white meats, seafood etc.
There is a big food street inside, which selling so many delicious and well cooked dishes that I lost mind...there is also a bakery inside selling different kinds of freshly bake breads and biscuits...Apart from these, you can find lots of tasty and packed snacks, sweets, chocolates and Chinese herbs. Even the cosmetic products and household supplies you an find it here.

A popular Japanese store where we shop in this and other branches around the city, all the normal groceries can be found plus household items, this branch is a little cramped and is right in the middle of GT land. Normally has very good sushi and other Japanese fresh snack foods.

Things to know before going:
1st) Take a backpack or some extra heavy duty bags if ur planing on doing big shopping!
2nd) Best time to go is afternoon, not so many ppl.. but again is china.
last something I wish someone told me was, when shopping for vegetables make sure you go to the code stand so they can put the label on, it shows the price, near the vegetables .
Besides that you find most things you need, a few westerner products.
