One thing about China is the lack of wild animals when you wander around outside of the cities. It is nice to see what looks to be a well run zoo. You can feed the giraffes, get very close to red panda's and see any...More

Staff at the ticket office could not speak any English so it was a challenge to purchase tickets as they have various options. The zoo is in need of an upgrade! The only major attraction were the Pandas.

Hi everyone, I have a 20+ hr stopover in Guangzhou and REALLY want to see a panda, but I have seen by the comments regarding the Guangzhou Zoo that they don't have any pandas there at the moment. I know, I know, I'm THAT tourist who wants to see a Panda, but can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!
