Good shopping

Lots of shops. But need to bargain for a good price. Best to go shopping at night. Clothes or shoes for big sizes not available

I had high hopes for Beijing Lu but I was disappointed. The shops aren't international brands it sells mainly cheap Chinese goods. This is not a patch on Tiyi Xilu or Taikoo Hui which is a better area for shopping.

Just about every Chinese city has one of these streets but the difference is that this street has been around since the 9th Century. They have sections of the old road dating back to that time glass enclosed you can take a glimpse of history here and thought it was very cool.

Beijing Road is ok if you've just arrived in China and want to experience something different. It's noisy, very busy and quite lively. Not a great place for shopping but each to their own. Transportation home can be a disaster as its so busy and taxis will most likely try to rip off unsuspecting tourists. In saying that, it's worth... More

Not a great place to shop as the prices are not cheap and you can find more store in a shopping centers with better environment. The only highlight is seeing the road from 2000 years ago

It is a very crowded comercial area, full of unknown brands offering very cheap goods. Don't judge the shops by it's cove, once inside you never know what you will find!! Be patient, bargain everything and have fun!! With a 100 dollars you can be the whole morning walking and filling you suitcase with some nonsense stuff.

Is the chinese type expectative you have when you want to travel to a China city, so if you are looking that, you should visit. Lots of lights, commerce, people, noices. Very good place to go shopping (all kinds of stores and prices) and to try the Mango juice in a very nice format which is a sensation.

Very good for shopping with lots of discounts on clothes and shoes. Many food carts on the middle of the road.
