We had a 9 hour layover in Guangzhou and were hoping to quickly check out the city and make it back in time for our connecting flight. We were a bit apprehensive about leaving the airport and coming back within such a tight turnaround time, but Janvi made everything seamless. He met us very early in the morning at the... More

Spent a day with Janvi during my 72 hrs layover in Guangzhou, and absolutely loved the tour. Not only was Janvi a great person to hang out with, but he also showed me parts of the city I would otherwise not have seen, had I explored the city on my own. Although we used ferry, bus, taxi, and metro, I... More

My mum and I spent two days with Janvi in December. Taking the Sai Kwan and Whampoa Anchorage walking tours. Both days were jam-packed experiences, we fit in so many fascinating sights into just two days. I especially recommend the Sai Kwan walking tour which is an excellent introduction to old Guangzhou, from traditional herbal medicine markets, to local food... More

I love Jin Wei or Janvi because it felt like a friend was taking me to show me his city. He is totally professional and also very friendly at the same time. He lays it out as it is and doesnt sugar coat it. We walked around for 4-5 hours and every minute was informative and fun. Its not a... More

We booked a 4-5 hour tour with Janvi after the new year coming home since we had a 22 hour layover in Guangzhou. Needless to say, Janvi was very professional via email and answered all of my questions before the tour. He did not do the tour since he had another appointment but had one of his other guides, Summer,... More

I had a long layover in Guangzhou so I contacted Janvi quite last minute for a tour of the city. He's been incredibly kind and available, giving me info and indications about everything I needed. During the tour, he showed me the old part of the city, walking among the little streets of the market and stopping to eat the... More

We had a long layover in Guangzhou, so I contacted Janvi for an evening tour of the city. He took us everywhere! We first went for a quick boat ride, then walked around the city through the markets until we sat down for dim sum. The food he recommended was so tasty...the almond buns were the best. We then took... More

I emailed Janvi the night before we were arriving in Guangzhou for a 12 hour layover. Luckily, he was quick to respond and available! He took us on an amazing walking tour of Guangzhou that included the best dim sum -- a must in the the place where dim sum was born. Janvi knows an impressive amount about the history... More

After searching the internet to find out how best to plan my 11 hour stop over in Guangzhou, I came across Janvi Tours. Janvi and the tour lived up to all expectations after reading the wonderful reviews on Trip Advisor. He was waiting for us at the airport and off we went on the train into the city. I couldn't...
