Walking off the elevator I received a warm welcome of smiles and helpful staff. We were walked across the pool area into the spa. Wow! Stunning!!! I was welcomed into a beautiful spa by a very sweet young lady. I was seated to fill out paperwork and offered tea. It was so relaxing beside the waterfall wall. Ana came and walked me to the room. It was very beautiful and relaxing also. The facial was perfect. I would not have changed a thing. This hotel honestly has the best staff of all the hotels we go to. Thank you Ana for a relaxing facial.

I was delighted to discover that this spa could stay open past closing despite the fact that it was intended to close at 11:00pm. I walked in one evening around 10:30 because I had returned from dinner after attending the Canton Fair and booked an hour massage on the spot. Just what I needed after a long day of work. I was so grateful that they were open and that they would accept to take the appointment after their posted hours. My massage therapist was named Michelle and she was excellent. A bathroom adjoined my massage room, where I could shower and change - there was a closet to hang my clothes, I felt safe to leave my jewellery here, and I took a shower because it was the end of a long day. I came into the massage room nice and refreshed. The massage room was lovely and there was very soft Oriental music playing. I was proved the option of wearing some sort of massage underwear but I declined, I am used to having massage and I told the girl that if she was comfortable with me not wearing that underwear, so was I. I find they are usually not terribly comfortable. My massage was the first one on the menu, Oriental essence. I was provided with a choice of massage oil, I chose the one that was conducive to sleep, I believe the lemongrass. She put something under my neck which I have to ask about, when I was on my back, it kept my neck warm. That was different. Towards the end of the massage, my feet were soothed with hot towels. The massage ended with a little bell being rung. Michelle advised me to not shower before I went to bed, to leave it on overnight, that the oil would be very moisturizing. She also suggested that I return to my room in my robe and slippers, to not get oil on my clothes. Very thoughtful. I was led to a relaxing section to have tea and delicious tiny chocolate chip cookies. I could pay my bill while I enjoyed this. Because it was a Monday I was offered 20% off the treatment. Bonus! In summary, this was absolutely a top drawer spa experience. Excellent staff and facilities, and what made it all possible for me was their flexibility about their hours. Will look forward to going again.

stayed at the hotel and needed a relaxing massage after hours of walking a trade show. It was beautiful. the environment is very relaxing the rooms well appointed, the staff attentive. there is a very good spa pool, steam room and sauna as well. whilst you would get something ten times cheaper out on the street, the convenience when staying in the hotel, plus the overall standard of cleanliness and professionalism is worth the splurge.
