Located close to Haizhu Square, this is a plaza for buying toys and gifts. They also have some curious inside and I bought a music box here. Near this plaza, you can also find other street shops selling decorations.

There is always lots of new things to see and buy, at this multi-floor building packed with hundreds of small wholesalers. The vast majority with also sell in small quantities, albeit, and higher than bulk prices. On this visit, I bought three phone cases, and a few toys. I also took photos of a few items which I thought I could but cheaper from Chinese online retailers.

This is a great place to discover what’s new and see the latest fade items. On my visit, I bought smartphone accessories, toys, and personal care items for family and friends. Many of the shop areas turn over, as product cycles vary, and some only last a season. Leased space vacancy, appears to be less than 10%, and new vendors quickly take up vacated space. Not only is Onelink a great place to shop, but there are also many other wholesale markets within a five to twelve-minute walk.

Lots of different things to buy, with ever changing stock and styles. I bought a beautiful China tea set with hand painted Chinese figures, toys for kids, and a backpack.

Since about 2006, I’ve been to OneLink over 25 times. It is my favourite place for buying toys, various accessories, the latest gadgets, household decorations, purses, hats, scarfs, arts and crafts, jewelry, sporting goods, chinaware, umbrellas, keychains, collectibles and gifts of all kinds, mobile phone cases and accessories, and other thousands of other souvenirs at OneLink. The goods available, change with demand. About 15% of the goods being sold were not previously being offered at OneLink. Today, I buy less than I did in the past. This is because I now go to see what the newest and best items are, look at the prices offered, and then go back to my computer to see if I can buy it cheaper online while at the same time having it delivered to my home. This way I don’t have to buy extra suitcases for all my purchases. However, there are still some items I buy even if the online price is less expensive. Why??? I can’t fly back home to my grandkids and say “your presents will be arriving in the mail”.
The prices at OneLink are a touch on the expensive side. Goods can be bought cheaper in the wholesale markets. However, the variety available at OneLink is greater, and really, how much do you save in time and cost by looking to buy everything at the cheapest price. That said, even for small quantities of one or two, about 50% of the retailers will allow a discount of 10% to 20%. Some of the pricing makes little sense. One mask item, sells for 11 rmb for a quantity of 10; if you only want one or two, you have to pay 60 rmb each. Thus, the price of 120 rmb for two, is greater than the 110 rmb price for 10 pieces. In the end, I ended up buying 15 at 11 rmb each. They will make great Halloween masks for my friends.
Since the beginning of the year renovations have taken place at OneLink. To my surprise, there are now few vacant retail booths (likely not exceeding 3% of total available retail space) at OneLink. The vacant ones tend to be in the back, where there is less pedestrian traffic. With less walk-by traffic, they have less appeal to vendors.
This eight-storey shopping mall, with thousands of retailers, carries almost everything, with homeware products such as furniture, porcelain and china, water fountains, and over 10,000 other items being sold primarily on the top four floors. In the past, the upper two floors had vacancy of 50% or more.
Shop owners from around the world come to buy goods from wholesalers here. For large quantities, the prices come down significantly. Sometimes by over 70%.
Some of the retailers will ship the goods to your specified destination. However, this is at a fee.

Watch out for counterfeit money and theft . . . A few tips:
One, some taxi drivers give counterfeit money. A common trick used by some, is when you give them a 100 rmb note, they will switch it for a counterfeit one, and give it to you saying you gave them a counterfeit bill. This has happened to me twice. Nowadays, I take photos of my 100 rmb bills, and if they give me a bill back saying it is counterfeit, then I would check the serial number to the photos on my mobile phone.
I use a mobile phone case which allows a string or shoelace type rope to be tied to it. Then I tie to a belt loop or a special loop I have sewn into the bottom of a pant pocket. On some clothing, I increase security, by putting valuables in a hidden or more secure pocket.

Onelink is certainly an amazing place for variety and good price, It is probably the most amazing plaza that I have ever been in. ou can find way too many products showcase under one roof; gadgets to souvenirs, women accessories to home-decos, kitchen to bedroom accessories, melamine to glass wares, kid toys to big boy toys and many more.
