Certainly better and more upmarket than Teemall. Good range of high and mid end boutique stores within the mall. It also has a large foodcourt and variety of good restaurants. Recommended.

Incredible! Best mall in Guangzhou! Typical first world with the best brands!
It’s worth a visit and some time to walk around and clear your head from the fair! Practically inside the Mandarin hotel!

I love the shopping malls of Swire Properties. They have the best high-end tenants, and TaiKoo Hui is a clear example. It is on what I could call Guangzhou’s Magnificent Mile (I haven’t measured the distance but see it as being from TaiKoo Hui to TeeMall. I have walked it many times and believe it is over a kilometre in length.) of shopping malls in the Tianhe District, and it is the best of the best. The mall itself is spacious and beautiful. I have my credit cards. Burberry, Bvlgari, Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Fendi, Givenchy, Kenzo, Loro Piana, Louis Vuitton, Mvuke Tokyo, Piaget, Prada, Tiffany & Co, Valentino, Versace, and others, here I come.

My wife and I recently visited the Taikoo Hui mall on a Sunday afternoon. The mall is located along the bustling Tianhe Road and not far from the other big malls in the area - Onelink Mall, Grandview and Tee Mall. There's a metro station directly connected to the mall which makes for easy and convenient access.
The mall is upscale with luxury brands on the ground and upper floors, and some other midrange brands on the lower basement levels. There's a also a good mix of F&B with some familiar Singapore chains like TWG, Awfully Chocolate and Putien.
One popular and unique shop that is worth visiting is Fangsuo Commune which is a very large store selling everything from books, gifts, quirky local products, display pieces for the home and clothes. Prices are not cheap but the store is very nicely designed and it's a good stop for unusual products.
Design-wise, the mall is very nicely designed with touches of wood and scattered throughout the mall. As with Swire's other flagship property in Hong Kong (Pacific Place), the mall is decked out in designer finishings and is a standout amongst its local peers.
While I won't go out of the way to Taikoo Hui, it's worth stopping by if you have some time and to pay a visit to Fangsuo Commune.

The Taikoo Hui Mall is one of the most luxurious high end shopping malls in Guangzhou. Lots of exciting stores, cafe's restaurants etc. You will find something that caters to all age groups. It is also well connected via Underground Metro, though we usually go here by car.

This is definitely a luxury mall. I went into a store that I had never heard of and picked up a pair of nude pumps that I liked and they were $15,000 USD!!!! I still don't know what brand they were but I put them down and walked out. This is a very high-end mall and there are very few stores that I can afford items at (Starbucks is in that list). There is a grocery store at the bottom level and it is very nice (extremely overpriced ---$20 for a small watermelon). I live in GZ and I am right next to Taikoo Hui. I often go inside for their amazing AC and to watch the rich buy overpriced luxury items. The food on the top floor is really good, including a German restaurant and Element Fresh.

Luxury Mall with several global brands. Some local luxury brands, but mostly international brands. Beautiful architecture and medium sized food court.
It feels like being at a Mall in Hong Kong. Even the mall is scented!
If taking the metro, use the Orange #3 line to Shipaiquiao and exit towards BRT side.
The Mandarin Oriental is next to it and you can access it through the Mandarin Oriental bakery. They have super delicious High Tea, so check it out if you have time to sit down and experience a wonderful high tea experience.
The mall has clean restrooms and very nicely decorated as well.

This is one of many malls on Tianhe Road. It's huge and modern and links 2 towers and is just beside the subway and BRT stops. The higher floors have all the luxury brands, such as Dior, Coach, Dolce and Gabbana, and gradually becomes less luxurious as you go down. There's a big supermarket in the basement. This centre is linked underground to other shopping malls on the other side of the road.

There is a LEGO shop at the basement!
Direct access from the train station at the basement level. Good choice of coffee shops. Food court on the 2nd floor has good choices as well :)

Yes Taikoo Hui is a wonderful shopping tower consisting of 5 floors, and a basement level of some of the highest levels of luxury shopping. With it's roof top restaurants, luxury brand stores, and import grocery store in the basement, why wouldn't you want to go. But if you are a budget traveler don't shy away from all the sparkling lights. Use the restrooms. If you're been city adventuring all morning or all day a clean western restroom is what you'll be looking for!
