There is always something new and interesting to view in the galleries of this modern looking building. The main exhibits are of modern art and sculptures. Admission was free, but I had to show my passport.

Well, if you would like to explore something different then this would be an interesting choice. There are several Chinese art work on display. Not exactly a place to take kids, since they might get rather bored looking at paintings, but its still a nice box to check for the art lovers.

Interesting exhibitions and wonderful building but we asked our concierge at the Langham for the address of the Museum of Contemporary Art to give to the taxi driver.
Instead we were driven here.
Afterwards we walked to the nearest Metro to head to the Biama Market which was a mistake. Should have caught a taxi instead.
We will be more careful tomorrow.

A small museum offering a wide range of temporary exhibitions. This makes it a bit of a hit-or-miss affair for once-off visotors. My visit was more "miss" than "hit". They were installing the next exhibition and most parts of the museum were closed. There was one small exhibition open, China's entry to the Asian Art Expo 1014. Some interesting works. But hey, the museum is free and there is a marvelous bookshop. Why not pop in?

Unfortunately, there was a pretentious conceptual art program on when I visited (As We May Think: Feedforward). Major disappointment.

Visited this Museum as part of our tour. Was impressed by the ivory carvings and was pleased to see a sign that referred to ivory trade now being banned. The carvings were done with detail and one of a ship with passengers was unique.
Not being truly interested in ceramics or other folk art I did not spend much time observing these displays.
This place is worth a visit for those interested in Folk Art displays.

We learned to go to the Guangzhou Museum, early in the morning, we set in Gongbei, and then proceed to the Guangzhou Museum, along the way we are very excited to chat, about two hours, we went to the Guangzhou Museum. Guangzhou Museum is mainly introduced Lingnan culture, Lingnan history. We went inside the museum, there are staff related to the history. In the afternoon when we went to Chen Temple, Chen Temple is a very Lingnan ancient architecture. Participate in this Chen Ancestral Hall, we all hungry, we chose a very Guangdong culture of morning tea. Guangzhou is the most distinctive Cantonese-style morning tea. We ate Cantonese tea and we went back to Zhuhai. This is a very interesting journey
