This park is a park of many faces. There are quiet walks, gardens, a boating lake, restaurants and an amusement park all surrounding LiuHua lake. There seems to be an entrance every couple of hundred metres around the park. There’s no fee so just stroll in and enjoy. At most gates there’s a map of the park. Take a photo... More

This park is very attractive with well-maintained paths and it is very clean. It is a nice place to see locals relaxing and it is convenient to reach by bus.

First visit was back in May 2002, Liu Hua Hu is the great wonderful park to go if you're seeking a fun zone! The make lake in the middle of the park are always a great place to take a cruise on the duck dingy, then you can find the fun zone rides: pirate ship, bumper car, and so many... More

Lovely big park with masses of flowers and a large lake. Peaceful, tidy. Wide paths. Boating. No cyclists. Great penjing (bonsai) area. Can get a bit crowded at times because it's so good, but a great park. 5 stars

The park is near the Dong Fang and Marriott China hotels. The park is very beautiful and scenic. Good for a relaxing walk. On good weather days it's packed with locals exercising, playing badminton, tai chi, ballroom dancing, kids playground facilities and much more. This park is not well promoted to foreigners...for no cost entry and walk around the serene... More

I love visiting this Park whilst in Guangzhou. It is so peaceful and beautiful. I recommend it to anyone who needs to de-stress! I will visit again. The park is huge and you can literally walk for hours.

I visited this park on my first night upon arrival to China. (Jetlag unable to sleep yet.) It was amazing relaxing. People playing badminton, dancing, jogging, taking walks, choreographing, etc. Later, the new friends I made did invite me for a game of badminton. It a was good and refreshing evening. It is somewhat striking how China/Guangzhou planned and provided... More

The park was just around the corner from my hotel (Dong Fang). It is a beautiful place for an early morning walk. This is a great place to experience a different slice of local life...be one with the people. It is popular, but not overly crowded in the early morning...walkers, joggers, groups of folks exercising, e.g., tai chi, general morning... More

The first time I visited this place was in 1970, the park was opened to foreigners attending the Guangzhou Fair, we would go for a walk or hiring a boat paddling it through the lake. 43 years later, people can still go for jogging and the boats are still there. I can hardly see tourists visiting the Lake, the available... More

I stayed in a near by hotel and this park is good for a stroll or jog although be carful of the pollution can be very smoggy and difficult to view the old style buildings, gardens are well maintained and very clean surroundings a nice lake
