Well we went during a National Holiday period and the queues were horrendous. It probably took 1 hr 30 minutes to get to the viewing platform. Queued for a ticket, queued for security checked, queued for the lift queued for another lift. When we got to the 340m level we were disappointed to find restricted views as there is supports... It was a beautiful view of the city from the 107 and 108 floors. I also went to the top floor where they have a vertical drop ride for the daring youngsters and the Bubble Tram that rotates around the top of the tower for about 20 mins. Most main cities in China have a large population and population density.... More

The cost for going up is really rather high by Chinese standards, but the views are excellent, as are the attractions at the top. The drop ride particularly is excellent fun!

Terrible city in general with the rudeness, entitlement, laziness, brainless nature of the region. Saddest province with little education even though they are one of the riches Mainland Chinese city.

Took the subway to canton tower station & exit A, walk up the staircase & look up, you will be next under the building. I brought the ticket package with the ferris wheel some call it Bubble tram, encircles at the top of the tower at 455m = 110floors. TIPS for enter the tower is before sunset/night, to avoid the... We went to the Twist buffet restaurant on the 106th floor first. The view is nice, the restaurant also, but the food is not good and it is very expensive. The view on the 107th and 108th floor is the same as from the restaurant. The windows are very dirty so it is very hard to take a photo. It... More

We didn't have the opportunity to go up in the tower, however it is in an impressive structure by day and truly a spectacle at night. After sunset the entire tower is lit with moving colors throughout the evening. It is fascinating to watch both nearby and from a distance. We didn't go up in the tower for two reasons;... More

I wasn't able to go up because it was extremely crowded but I really loved the slender design of the observation tower. But the smog was terrible that day so I guess it's ok not to go up. Better check the smog level first before purchasing a ticket.
