This is the shrine of the Prophet Muhammed's uncle who brought Islam to China and was buried in a tomb here. Few things to bear in mind

- It closes at 1630 so get there early
- Its not easy to find so here are directions: Get out at Yuexiu Park (Line 2 on MTR) and look for the Orchid Garden Exit.
- When out come onto the main road, turn left and take the first left.
- you will pass on the right the ticket booth for the orchid gardens. But keep walking to end of the road, bear right. at the end up the path and this will lead to the mosque. The shrine is past the mosque in the far corner if you keep walking with the mosque on the right hand side.
- Its only open to muslims

Enjoy your time here

Worth a visit if you're into history and if you understand the significance of this place. I was surprised by this place, I thought that it's just a tomb with a mosque attached to it. But really it felt like I visited a mini park. It's February but the greenery astounded me and I had a pleasant time.

I was in china for business trip and went for juma prayers. Its such a different place that for a moment you will forget that you are in China.
As per the info mentioned there, the tomb is of Saad bin waqaas, uncle of Prophet Mohammad SWS.
There is a well which is 14 centuries old. Its a must visit place for Muslims if they are in Guangzhou.

Here lies the resting place of hazrat Saad Bin Abi Waqas (R.A.) uncle of Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W.) who was the first one to come to China to spread the message of Islam.
The place is filled with peace and tranquility and you will find all walks of life coming here. Earlier there was a halal food street esp before Friday namaz but its shut down for some reasons.
Have to be here if you happen to be in Guangzhou ,personally its my favorite place.

It is great experience to visit Roza Saad bin abi waqas. It is full of Peace place , you can find people reciting Quran and Naat there. حضرت سعد بن ابی وقاص کا روضہ مبارک بہت عالی شان ہے۔ ادھر آکر آپ کے دل کو اتمنان ملے گا۔ روح کو تاذگی کا احساس ملے گا۔
