I find the best part of the island is the large park with lots of greenery and flowers all year long. In the summer months, it can be too hot and humid for daytime walks. Most will begin to come out after 8:00 pm, and then it often will be very crowded.

We took a didi taxi to the island. Our leisurely walk-around, mostly along the outer perimeter by the water, was enjoyable. I stopped and had a tour of the concert hall, and had a long walk through the large park area.

The Ersha Island is quite a nice place to explore and for a picnic. There are a few places to eat although its mostly residential. The park is really nice to walk around.

I love to walk around the Er'sha Island as it has a really nice central park which has beautiful flowers. On a Sunday morning, you will often see people having a picnic with kids. Its such a nice experience.

I live on Ersha Island, although it's an island it's not an island anymore.

Major bus routes, trucks, high speed cars & cyclist's all use Ersha as through-way to Haisun/Haizhu. The parks are amazing but filled with people on the weekends - that's good but so many people.

There's a Starbucks, art gallery/museum, concert hall, another Cafe called The Artists Coffee Pub, Vanguard grocery, several restaurants etc. and then there is the Pearl River Delta walkway full of life and activity every night.

At nigh the river walk is a spectacle to be seen.

Er'sha Island is a great place to go and spend the day. It is a small island with a beautiful community. In the center of the island is a nice park for people to relax or do some exercise. The park runs almost the entire length of the island and there is a bike rental stand there if you would like to ride around the park. It is a great place for a picnic.

The Er'sha island is a nice island sort of in the middle of the Pearl River. The island has a few tourist attractions, the large park in the middle has a lot of beautiful flowers and is packed with people over the weekends. We often go there for walks and to enjoy a different part of Guangzhou.

This is a little oasis in town, low density, buildings are low-rise. There is a large patch of greens in the middle, with a major state-run art gallery and a music hall, this is a place to come to relax, whether on foot by the river bank or simply having a cup of coffee or a croissant.

If you want a nice stroll through manicured gardens and or riverside, hire a bike, find a decent children's playground Er Sha is the spot. You get quite a good view of the city from here, and coming over at night time gives yet another perspective, many of the tall city buildings have lights that come on about 6.30pm, as do the boats cruising the river. There's no shopping and very few restaurants, but you'll find a coffee at Starbucks.

Ersha island has some nice parks, lots of overpriced compounds and too many foreigners to count... the location is of course top but getting on and off the island is often combined with lots of swearing in traffic jams fighting with people who think wechat is more important as driving during peak times.
