Really one of the best places in Najran and if you came to the city and you did not visit it you are going to miss a lot
Try to come and see the unique building and the museum and old drawing at the stones
Old tree more than 200 years
A lot and money thing
Discover it

Historically the oldest location in the city. long walks in open area between the ruins so select good weathers. Must see in Najran.

I visited Najran this year - and left the day before the border to Asir Province was closed to incoming flights and buses - strange timing - but unfortunately I was not able to visit the museum - there was conservation work going on at Al Aktood and the museum was closed! Tried to visit the dam - but again timing meant it was closed till much later in the day i.e. 4 o'clock.
Photographs : March 2015 - sunrise and sunset at Najran + traditional Yemeni mud architecture at Al Okhdood + two doorways of remaining Yemeni mud buildings at Al Okhdood. I got some great Yemeni Cidr honey which was the other purpose of my visit and got in and out in the nick of time as the border with Yemen was closed afterwards - shelling began from Asir to Yemen within days.
