Beautiful Mosque, a bit far off from Madinah, Nice to go pray there and remember what Allah truly wants from us, to have faith in HIM and not on worldly monies and help.

Unfortunately could not visit this mosque, because of some unknown reasons. We had a look from a distance. It looks very beautiful, only because, so many Sahaba burried there too.

The city of tranquility and no one has ever said otherwise. The difference between Medina and Mecca is like night and day. I would always suggest going to Mecca first and then Medina. There are plenty of good hotels around the mosque and so many historical sites to visit in Medina. The mountains are beautiful and its worth a trip... More

The mosque in the town of Badr known as Masjid e Areesh is a quiet place where u offer your prayers and remember the martyrs of the Battle of Badar. The place is about a two hour drive from the city of Madina. You will see small tour groups around the back of the mosque and also see remains of... More

It is a mosque but the history is very rich at this place. One needs a local guide to tell the actual history behind this place and the Battle of Badr which was just behind this mosque and there is a dried well near the small mounds.

When you pray there, just try to conceive our prophet prayed in that very place. The mosque is called masjid Al-areesh. This is the place where Muslims constructed a shade for the prophet used as command center for the great battle of Badr. Like all other historic sites, there are no tours neither tour guides, but locals are friendly and... More
