I found it very warming and relaxing when we went to Mount Uhud and stayed there for a while and watched the sunrise on top of Mount Rumah. It is a small mountain and is not crowded in the morning. You can even pray there, always handy to keep your portable prayer mat with you!

This mountain is important reminder and evidence of the coming of Islam in mecca and medina in the 7th century. The disciples of the prophet who fought along with him had met their martyrdom and are buried at the foot of the mountain. Many other disciples had survived and later many of the members of opposing army had reached self-realisation and accepted Islam for peaceful and friendly living around the world

Amazing experience visiting Uhud. Would definitely recommend this place, but make sure to spend time and appreciate the efforts the prophet and his companions went through for Islam. Would urge those visit to climb the ‘Archers Mountain’ (very easy) and if you have time, take a walk alongside Uhud mountain to find the Masjid the Prophet prayed at

Went to the area as one of the stops of the sightseeing bus toor.

Place is massive and it is a must visit spot in Medinah to witness the place of the battlefield of Uhud battle and make sublimation to the martyrs of the battle and master of martyrs Sayedna Hamza.

Lots of shopping stalls to buy dates and many other stuff.

Have a short climb on top of the archers's mount and have a feel of the battlefield

Try to hike up the mountain and remember where prophet Muhammed pbuh hid after being hurt.

A wholy place all over with lots of history.

How true are the words of Prophet Muhammad (Pbut) for the moment I set eyes upon beloved Mount Uhud until I left never has a mountain exuberated so much love and warmth. I was honoured that my hotel was close to Mount Uhud that I saw them everyday. My heart would fill with joy at seeing them, I almost felt like they are calling me to gather them into my arms such is the aura of this blessed Mount. The history of the Battle of Uhud and the role of this Mount is a must visit. There is a Mosque where Prophet Muhammad (pbut’s) camp was stationed and I was lucky to pray there. The resting place of the martyrs of Uhud is also close by. 70 brave martyrs including the Prophet (pbut’s) dear uncle Hamza bin Abdul Mutallib (RA) are laid to rest there and I payed my family and my respects and fathiha. My heart and eyes long to see beloved Mount Uhud again, Insha’Allah we will not have to wait long. Beloved Uhud I love you because you love me✨

It is a mountain in north of Medina, Saudi Arabia. It is 1,077 m high. It was the site of the second battle between Muslim and Meccan forces - Muslims say: A Mount that the Prophet Loved
