We went to Safari Park because we thought the kids would like it. After 20 or 30 minutes my 5 year old nephew started asking when we would go out from there. The animals have very small cages, in some of them it's dirty and there's not very pleasant smell around some areas with animals. I don't think we would visit it again. If you go take some bread for feeding ducks and fish, it might be entertaining for your kids. Also there is only one case inside the park, they serve only grilled meat, ice-cream and drinks, so make sure to take water and sandwiches if you go with kids.

Just beautiful - our 3 1/2 year old was excited! It's just very well maintained fun place with lots of cool animals, little shops and cafes - Dino park is fun, boating around the little island and feeding little monkey was a highlight - lots of fun activities next to it as well

Krasnodar Territory offers guests not only a warm sea and a gentle sun: cognitive tourism is no less fascinating. To see exotic animals and birds personally, it is not necessary to go to another country - all this can be found in Krasnodar, in the Safari Park in the territory of the "Sunny Island" park.

A bit of history ...

And it all began with a white parrot Ara, who was presented to the current director of Safari Park. It was this white handsome Ara and became the first exhibit in the park collection. After that, other animals appeared in the house on the Tram - birds, amphibians, small predators. So a small collection of animals marked the beginning of a big project.

For visitors the Krasnodar zoo "Safari-park" was opened on May 1, 2006. It is unique in that it is the only private safari park in Russia.

The territory of the park is huge - it occupies almost 10 hectares. The safari park is divided into thematic zones - so the conditions of living of animals in the natural environment are more clearly demonstrated.

Especially beautiful is the "eastern" zone - with waterfalls, ponds and goldfish in them.

And also various flower beds, flower beds and lawns enliven the space, and the park looks more cozy and welcoming. Zoo in Krasnodar can compete with any European zoo.

What you can see in Safari Park

In the Safari Park unique animals from around the world are collected, which are listed in the Red Book of the Russian Federation - more than 250 species of animals and birds.

In the number of inhabitants of the safari park:

kangaroo;

hippos;

monkey;

hyena;

camels;

lemurs and other, no less amazing animals.

And handsome peacocks! About them - a separate conversation. It all began with a few small peacocks, which the park's director was growing himself. But these little beautiful creatures require special care and a special diet. The chicks were eating only ant eggs - and the collector of exotic animals had to have a huge anthill on his site. The case is rather troublesome, but the offspring managed to be preserved. And now peacocks pleases the eyes of the visitors of the safari park.

Do not support this place with your dollars, but instead advocate for the animals to be relocated to a humane sanctuary

It is so interesting that this city caters to its families like they do. Most Americans would love to have a Safari Park in their own home town. Sadly, our litigious and self-centered culture would probably not allow the expense.
